Be Aikora ==>

You smile as you log out of your favorite Videogame, Fair Mage Online. Pulling up Pesterchum, you open a chat with your gaming buddy, Anne, blushing slightly at the thought of how your character saved hers earlier. Suddenly frowning and berating yourself about thinking of your gaming partner in any sort of romantic way, you take a swig of your drink and begin to talk about the raid you two just completed.

Show Pesterlog:

Pleased that Anne was also thinking of finding a new game, you skim the tutorial again before captchalogging your laptop, wincing as you feel a prick on your neck. You then stand up and walk over to a laden bookshelf in the corner. The shelves are so overfilled and old that they sag downwards under their burdens, and you have to be careful not to bring the whole thing falling down as you retrieve one of the newer volumes on the shelf. Like most of the books, it deals with a form of magic called voodoo, though this tome in particular deals with potions. You flip to yet another immortality potion recipe after plopping down on the floor and taking a swig of the potion in your hand – a failed attempt that does nothing more than keep you awake for days on end. You mumble as you take a bag of ingredients and supplies out of your sylladex and start mixing them together in the designated amounts, thinking about who to ask to work with you and Anne in this suspicious new game.

That was settled pretty easily. You smile to yourself at the thought of playing this new game with old friends and new, with everyone learning about each other and working together to succeed. You and Aikora don't actually know that much about each other, and you're curious about your online friend. You've already talked with your two other friends, Amit, who's guardian's actually working with your Bro on programming the game, and Cato, your best school friend. So as not to have to do it twice, you make a memo for you three to talk in.

Pesterlog:

That took awhile, and didn't go as smoothly as you hoped, but it's done now. You don't know how fast Aikora'll be at talking to her friends, but even if she's ready and raring to go extremely quickly you think a good night's sleep is in order. It's not as though the world's gonna end if you don't start right away right?

It takes you a little while to fall asleep as you think on how real this might be, and what you could be getting yourself into. No going back now though.

Be Aikora ==>
After a few hours of being unable to focus on the Potion recipe and having spilled a container of ingredients yet again, you shove the supplies in the corner and stand. Taking a long swig from the bottle in your hand, you go to the desk and take out your laptop, logging onto pesterchum.

Anne isn’t online, so you look through your chums and select the first troll that you want to play this game with you. She isn’t always near her computer, so you spring on the opportunity that presents itself.

Pesterlog:

Deciding that the conversation went well, even if it was short, you glance at the tutorial again, frustrated with how real the author makes it seem. You begin to shut your laptop, but your moirail suddenly comes online. You glance at the window and see that the sun is just starting to rise, which explains why he wouldn’t be out hunting his “ghosts,” which you have decided is just a silly way to deal with death, rather than actually doing research about potions and voodoo like yourself.

Pesterlog:

Glad that he agreed to playing, and that both of your friends agreed to read the tutorial, you stand and pull off your shirt as you walk into the bathroom. Feeling a large tear in the fabric, you grab a needle and thread that remains on the sink for moments exactly like this one and sew up the hole quickly before closing the bathroom door so that you can shower for the first time in….

2 weeks?

Be Aikora ==>
After your shower, you feed your lusus, who had previously been napping in a corner of your room, and then plop down in front of your laptop again. You go to take a swig of your bottle, but all you get is the last drop of the potion, so you toss the bottle at the wall in frustration, where it shatters. The sound makes you flinch, and you realize how bad of a mood you’re actually in. Knowing that this usually only comes from going without sleep for too long, you take another bottle out of your sylladex and down half of it before logging back onto your laptop. You see that the other two trolls you wanted to recruit are on, so you just invite the both of them to a memo, too impatient to actually contact them separately.

Pesterlog:

You would normally think through the conversation you just had, but the energy potion seems to have no effect, and you slowly feel yourself drifting off to sleep, where you have the strangest dream of being surrounded by purple.

You are now Aikora's friend somewhat earlier. Your lusus is still fast asleep, never mind that it's almost midnight. You sigh. You may have kept her up too long yesterday, investigating of the large insect you found, which you believe may have been one of the evolutionary predecessors to trolls, well past dawn. What will you do?

Zorena: Research
You open the journal titled Game session Screen10 (Aliens) and go directly to your favorite extraterrestrial-enthusiast forums to see what new species the empire has slated for conquest. You spot a planet, Gethen, that you haven't heard of before, and pull up Troll Wikipedia to see what sorts of interesting species live there... It appears to have a primarily arctic climate and be inhabited by androgynous mammals. Your forum tells you that these mammals are sentient but primitive enough that the Empress should be through with them quickly. Intrigued, you read further, but turn away embarrassed as most of the information seems to be on the creatures' mating habits. Perhaps you'll do something else for a bit.

Zorena: Pester chum
You click on the minimized pesterchum window in the bottom of your screen and are excited to see that one of your least reliable friends is online. You proceed to have the following conversation:
Pesterlog:

Zorena: Journal
Well, that was certainly enlightening. You are tempted to stroke your lusus' feathers, to reassure yourself that she is doing fine, but refrain to avoid cutting yourself or waking her. Instead, you pull out the journal labelled Game session Screen11 and proceed to write your thoughts on that conversation in that journal.
